matsushima -winter edition-

today..without any reason i went to matshushima..tired of looking people in crazy for hatsu uri (opening sale)..maybe i should have some rest with nature..so took a train to matsushima...im expecting to see a white snow covering the whole islands but i was wrong..it was beyond xpectation....seemed like aki rather than winter. hahha..anyway it was great although i was alone...hurmm

max yamabiko shinkansen..not the fastest yet..it aint come cheap..it will cost u RM500 for non reserved seat..hurm..take u less than 120minutes to tokyo..hurm but soon an upgrade version will join the service..

Its name is a portmanteau of Fast, Technology, and 360 km/h (the speed at which production trains will run). There are 2 types:
* FASTECH 360 S (E954 series)
For use on Shinkansen tracks only, an 8-car set that began test running on the Tōhoku Shinkansen in June 2005.
* FASTECH 360 Z (E955 series)
For use on both Shinkansen and mini-Shinkansen lines, a 6-car set due to begin test running in 2006.
FASTECH 360 trains are equipped with emergency air braking plates like that of an aircraft, similar in appearance to the ears of a cat. This trait immediately earned them a nickname of Nekomimi Shinkansen (ねこみみ新幹線, Nekomimi Shinkansen?), which literally means "cat-eared Shinkansen", but also refers to a widespread phenomenon of nekomimi in anime and manga. In line with moe culture, Fastech-tan character was quickly created as a personification of the new Shinkansen.
FASTECH 360 trains will have an arrow-line shape with a 'duck-bill' nose (seen on the 700 Series Shinkansens) in one end, while it will have a stream-line shape with a sharper nose reminiscent to the 300 and 800 Series Shinkansens.

yuriage.....morning market...

last sunday..we went to yuriage for fresh and cheap seafood..well it was early than we expected..woke up at 6.00 am which is way too early...so here are some pics..i didnt end up with fishes but ended up with pics of fishes...well ive been told that those fishes are stright from the port nearby...hurmm..guess its true..the main reason act, i was looking for the big human sized maguro - tuna..i couldnt find it not even one....i should come more often.....zannen!!!!

a trip to kyoto during obon festival is not recommanded...
kyoto was japan's capital from 794 until 1868..snap a few pictures...since i havent update nearly 2 month..sorry about that..i think this entry will be my kick start..kind a second wave..hehe.

this year sakura comes earlier than expected. supposed this week going to be hanami week but end up with falling sakura....well, usually we have snow shower in mid december but in mid april the sakura shower is taking its place..cool haa..act i havent post something that is ' japanese '....maybe my heart is still wondering in malaysia and havent yet returning back to japan with its body... 
this is the usual route i take to the campus..hahhahaha....well sakura is all over your head

kelantan - back dated

pay a visit to Bank Kerapu, just next to Masjid Muhammadi...the 1st floor is about the japanese soldier invasion during the WW11..and the 2nd floor is about 18th century Kelantan..quite impressive i think..especially Bunga Mas....a kind of journey back to the past

playing gasing is one of my fav altough i cant really play it....there is one rule u should know before taking pic of gasing player....it is wise not to take their pic without them wearing a samping or setangan...and playing this kind of gasing need more than two people to operate...cooperaton is the key of succes..in another word.team work..
