hmm, the pictures here are quite good. but i think you should've gone for other shots as well, especially from the front. rasa macam tak puas tengok. but i do understand: it's hard not to snap the tok dalang. just don't forget the other elements of the show as well.
takpe, i'm sure you'll learn from this experience, just like i did with the makyong show. kalau ada peluang nak capture performance lain, go for it. there's no real right or wrong about it. you're there as part of the audience really. that's what i was told.
Lesson to be learnt...
Always consider all the photo opportunities.
Don't be afradi to shoot more shots than necessary... Key word is rejection rate.

Anyway, I've updated and it's called PEOPLE... NOPE! JUST NATURE IN GLASS CAGES... Shot all those with my new 50mm f1/8.

Nocide how slow my shutter speed are? That's why I completely messed up my tunnel shots. Given the hindsight, I should have upped my ISO to 800 then I would have at least doubled my shutter speed and that would give me pictures that aren't to blurr. The fish in the tunnel moved fast and the curvature of the tunnel made focusing rather difficult. The 1.8 gave me the light I need.

Eh heh heh.. ambo tahu pasal setiap petang hari tertentu ada pertunjukan permainan dan tarian tradisional kat Gelanggang Seni tapi tidak wayang kulit. Bila check internet, dia ghoyak ada show malam Sabtu ngan malam Rabu tapi bila ambo gi check, takdok gapo2 pong.. So, demo nih kira bertuah laa sbb dapat bertemu nga wayang kulit show.. hu hu
